The Conference "Valencia, sustainable cruise destination" has been organized by Fundación Valenciaport in collaboration with the Port Authority of Valencia on 28th May 2018.
The aim of the event was to contribute to the sustainable development of cruise tourism in Valencia by encouraging the active participation of all the actors involved in their value chains.
During the meeting Andrea Muñoz, Project Manager at Fundación Valenciaport, illustrated the conclusions obtained from the European project SIROCCO. Among the emerging trends set to shape the future scenarios, Muñoz highlighted concerns about environmental sustainability, new technologies used to facilitate operations and market segmentation.
